The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins – 3 Things I am taking with me!
I am a big fan of Mel Robbins, and I am also a book lover! I got my hands on the Let Them Theory book a few months ago, and as I was going to be travelling a lot, the Kindle edition was ideal. I loved every page, and I believe it is the best and deepest work that Mel Robbins has devoted her soul to.

I would like to elaborate on the 3 most important things that I am keeping, as I finished the book last night, and already made videos about it on my social media. I loved it that much! So, here it goes:
- Loving yourself is the biggest accomplishment you will ever succeed in life! Because when you let yourself love you, that is when you allow yourself to be happy, to walk away from situations that no longer work by letting yourself setting boundaries which before did not exist and so much more.

Mel specifically writes that, when you find inside you the power to love and be happy, you create the life you deserve. Remember that no one is coming to save you! Show up for yourself in the best version of you. Recognize your worth and understand that you are responsible for the love and the happiness in your life. You are responsible for the energy which you bring out to the world every morning. Nobody owes you anything, but you owe everything to yourself! So, let you get what you deserve!
2. Allowing your kids to be their true self will deepen your relationship in meaningful ways you never imagined. I could not agree more since, parents fall into the trap of comparing their children to the “perfect” child of a friend or a colleague and do not actually understand the qualities and skills and talents of their very own blood and flesh. Give space and let them be children, teenagers and young adults. They will make mistakes but all they need to know is that we love them, no matter what! Allowing our children to feel comfortable being themselves gives them such freedom to dream and accomplish their goals, while we support them and guide them.
3. The third point I am taking with me and utilizing, in my professional self, is the answer to the most common question Mel gets asked often, when coaching big organizations. “How do I motivate my team?” And once again, Mel responds very simply and with very wise words! It is all about how you show up as a leader, as a boss, as someone who values his responsibility but allows his teammates to evolve and excel in what they do best. A good boss does not take into account just the budget or the perks or the talent. A good boss leads by unlocking the potential of his team, by driving the engagement and by making the team unstoppable.

And there is so much more profound wisdom in this book which had Oprah reading the book and characterizing it as one of the best books she ever read, offering significant breakthroughs to the reader and herself. Mel Robbins, once again, opens the gates to us, understanding that we need to be the change we seek to see, have and feel! It all starts from within us!
