Eleven months ago, I packed more than suitcases—I packed a lifetime of experiences, memories, dreams, and the hope that starting over would become one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.
Moving to the United States has been a journey of both excitement and humility. Like many immigrants, I quickly discovered that building a new life isn’t simply about changing countries. It’s about learning new systems, embracing unfamiliar routines, and finding the courage to begin again, even when you have already built a successful career elsewhere.

There have been moments of uncertainty. Waiting for paperwork, applying for countless positions, introducing myself to people who know nothing about my story, and wondering when the right opportunity will arrive. Those moments have tested my patience—but they have also strengthened my resilience.
At the same time, these months have given me something invaluable: perspective. I’ve had the opportunity to slow down, invest in my education, continue writing, develop new ideas, and reflect on the kind of professional—and person—I want to become. Every challenge has quietly become a lesson.

One thing I have learned is that our identity is never defined by our location.
Whether in Cyprus, New York, or New Jersey, I remain the same curious learner, educator, communicator, entrepreneur, and storyteller who believes that people can transform organizations—and lives—through authentic human connection.
America has reminded me that reinvention has no age limit.
Sometimes life asks us to leave behind certainty so we can discover a version of ourselves we never knew existed.
As I look ahead, I don’t see the past eleven months as a period of waiting. I see them as a season of preparation. The next chapter is already being written, and I am grateful to begin it with renewed purpose, deeper gratitude, and the quiet confidence that every meaningful journey starts with the courage to take the first step.

Because home, I’ve learned, is not simply where we come from.
It’s where we continue becoming who we’re meant to be.
